Information about us

The Upper Valley Knights Chess Club was organized by John Nielson in the fall of 2001 with assistance from Darren Furman and Jim Croasmun. 

We currently meet at the local Dairy Queen in Rexburg, Idaho. It doesn't get much better than downing a sundae while playing chess..."Queen to Dilly-bar 6!".  Membership fees are $5 a year and we sponsor nationally rated tournaments 2-3 times a year.

Whether you're a master candidate, an elementary or middle school student, or just an average-Joe player,  you're more than welcome to come and play!!
